The Point Road Sewer Force Main and Gravity Repairs project is now substantially complete. Today, PJ Keating completed mill & overlay paving of the affected areas on Point Road. Thank you for your patience and ongoing cooperation throughout the project.

Speakman Excavating continues to make progress on the Point Road Sewer Force Main and Gravity Repairs project. Again this week, a limited closure of Point Road between Barros Drive and the Point Road Playground is expected to be in effect during working hours from approximately 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, though the hours of the limited closure may extend depending on the conditions and status of the day’s progress. Due to the location of the sewer main in the middle of the road and the depth of excavation required for this replacement, a limited closure of Point Road between Barros Drive and the Point Road Playground will be in effect during working hours from approximately 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM from Monday, April 28th to Friday, May 2nd. We are expecting a limited closure of Point Road between Barros Drive and the Point Road Playground from approximately 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM from Wednesday, April 23rd to Friday, April 25th.

Due to the location of the sewer main in the middle of the road and the depth of excavation required for this replacement, a limited closure of Point Road between Barros Drive and the Point Road Playground will be in effect during working hours from approximately 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM from Thursday, April 10th to Friday, April 11th and also from Monday, April 14th to Friday, April 18th.

Speakman Excavating will be starting the Gravity Repairs portion of the Point Road Sewer Force Main and Gravity Repairs project on 4/08/2025. Due to the location of the sewer main in the middle of the road and the depth of excavation required for this replacement, a limited closure of Point Road between Barros Drive and the Point Road Playground will be in effect during working hours from approximately 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM from Tuesday, April 8th to Friday, April 11th. Access to Bullivant Farm Road and Barros Drive will still be available via County Road during the road closures. Traffic will be restored through the area at the end of each working day, though, as always, please slow down and use caution while traveling through the construction area. Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.
