The SWMP describes and details the activities and measures that are implemented to meet the terms and conditions of the MS4 General Permit. The SWMP is managed by six Measurable Control Measures (MCM’s):
- MCM1: Public Education and Outreach
- MCM2: Public Involvement and Participation
- MCM3: Illicit Discharge Detection and Elimination (IDDE) Program
- MCM4: Construction Site Stormwater Runoff Control
- MCM5: Post Construction Stormwater Management in New Development and Redevelopment
- MCM6: Good Housekeeping and Pollution Prevention for Permittee Owned Operations
The SWMP is updated annually to meet the current MS4 General Permit conditions and is available for public review and comment. All public comments will be taken under advisement. Please email any comments to Meghan Davis, Town of Marion Engineering Manager at mdavis@marionma.gov.
