The Marion Board of Health offers residents a safe solution for disposing of used syringes, needles, and other medical sharps generated within the home setting.
Residents may deliver their sealed sharps containers to the Marion Community Center / Nurse's Office, 465 Mill Street, which replaces the previous drop-off location at the Marion Police Department. However, empty sharp containers are still distributed from the Marion Board of Health, 2 Spring Street.

- First Wednesday of the Month
- 9 am to 11 am
- 1 pm to 3 pm
A collection service is available for residents who are homebound.
Replacement sharps containers for in-home use are provided free of charge.
