Marion Community Boating offers One Design racing in July and August

Race One Design in Cape Cod Bullseye class sailboats.  Register to use one of the fleet boats or BYOB (bring your own boat).

Participants meet at the Marion Harbor Masters dock for 10am on Saturdays.  We will run 4-6 races each Saturday, finishing up around 2pm. Weather permitting we will also host a cookout afterwards.

Sailing Instructor


Strong sailing skills and experience required. US Sailing Association Instructor or Coach Certification preferred.

Responsible for working on small projects and lesson plans to teach the fundamentals of sailing while keeping it fun, educational and age-appropriate

Responsible for all landside and on-the-water aspects of the conduct of their classes. This includes assisting students with the preparation and launching of their sailboats, reviewing and ensuring that rigging is done correctly, and that the boats are in safe, working condition.

Responsible for reporting any problems with the condition of any boat used in the program to the Director, and logging them in the Maintenance Log.

CPR, First Aid, Small Craft Safety Required - training is available

Experience teaching, coaching, and/or mentoring children preferred
