Reminder: Storm Clean Up Information

The Marion DPW, Highway Division, is continuing the storm clean-up on public roads, sidewalks and municipal properties.  Your patience is appreciated as there is substantial damage throughout town and clean-up will be a lengthy process. 

• If you have a tree down on your private property please contact a tree company to cut the tree and properly dispose of it.
• If you have limbs and branches on your private property please hire a landscape company to clean your yard or residents may bring the storm debris to the drop-off area on Benson Brook Road.  The drop-off area will be available every Saturday in November from 8 AM - 3:00 PM.  The drop-off is for Marion residents only, free of charge, and not available to contractors. 
• We ask that residents not bring storm debris and leaves to the curbside.  With winter quickly approaching and other tasks that need to be completed, in unison with the storm clean-up, we simply do not have the manpower or resources to include debris from private property.
