POINT ROAD SEWER FORCE MAIN AND GRAVITY MAIN REPAIRS

MARION DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS

The Marion Department of Public Works, through the contractor Speakman Excavating, will begin construction of the Point Road Sewer Force Main and Gravity Main Repairs project on Tuesday, April 1st, 2025.  The work will take place in multiple phases this spring and is anticipated to be completed before the end of May.  The work area will be on Point Road from the Point Road Sewer Pumping Station (near Bullivant Farm Road) to Route 6.

Although limited public access to the roadway will be maintained, motorists can expect delays while traveling through the construction area and should seek alternate routes.  As always, please slow down and use caution when traveling through road construction areas.  Every effort will be made to minimize inconvenience to motorists and residents.

Sewer service in this area will be maintained uninterrupted throughout the project.  Please be advised that public access to the construction area, materials, and equipment is prohibited.

Your patience and cooperation are greatly appreciated.  If you have any questions, please contact the Department of Public Works at 508-748-3540.
