Checklist for submitting Approval Not Required Plans to the Marion Planning Board:
The plan submitted shall be suitable for recording in the Plymouth County Registry of Deeds, and shall include at least the following:
1. The title, “Approval Not Required Plan drawn for (name of owner).”
2. Date.
3. A locus sufficient to identify where in the Town of Marion the property is located and indicating the boundary lines of proposed lots.
4. Plan shall be a minimum dimension of 9 ½” x 14” but not to exceed 24” x 36” at a scale of one inch equals 40 feet.
5. Zoning district and location of any zoning district boundaries that may lie within the locus of the plan.
6. The name, seal and signature of the Registered Professional Land Surveyor who prepared the plan.
7. The statement, “MARION PLANNING BOARD”, “Approval Under the Subdivision Control Law Not Required” and sufficient space for the date and all signatures of the members of the Board.
8. The names of all streets shall be shown.
9. Boundaries of the entire original tract. The area and frontage of all remaining land shall be stated on the plan.
10. The frontage and area in square feet shall be shown for every lot or parcel. All lots and parcels shall be designated.
11. Notice of any decisions by the Zoning Board of Appeals.
12. Names of abutters from Town of Marion Assessor’s records.
13. Distance to the nearest permanent monument.
14. Location of all existing buildings.
15. Location of any easements.
